Current Favourite Lip Balms

Hello Skindeepies!

I hope you guys are enjoying November so far!

Today’s entry will be about my new-found-love lip balms! For those of you who were looking forward to my reviews for the products in the previous post, do give me some time to test them so I can give a better review.

So anyway, let’s get started!

Tinted or regular lip balms? Definitely tinted for me! You will definitely find it when you're rummaging through my bag. If you're out with me, you will see me touching up my lips every hour or so with it (something my boyfriend can vouch for!). The reason I love tinted lip balms so much is the fact that you can switch them with your lipstick and treat your dry lips at the same time. Since Covid-19 started, make-up has not been on my list when I decided to go out because I hate how my skin feels under the mask, so to give my face a little bit of colour, I use tinted lip balms instead (Yes, I know, cannot see with the mask on but when you eat, you take it off right). Of course, you can also use it as a primer so that your lipstick glides easier and you'll have luscious lips!

If you read one of the previous posts on my skincare routine, you will know that I have been using Fenty Beauty Pro Kiss'r Luscious Lip Balm for quite some time. I will not go into it that much; you can click here to read up on it.

Besides the fact that this was created by my favourite celebrity, my queen and the badass BadGalRiRi, this lip balm is one of the best I have ever used! It comes with the doe-foot applicator so it glides on your lips easily. Colour from tinted lip balms are not very saturated so you can expect this to have a semi-sheer coverage. Oh, and it smells nice too! Like toffee candies!

It comes in 4 colours - Hint Hint(Clear Sheer Colour), Latte Lips(Nude Brown), Pinch Me(Rose Nude) & Cocoa Drizzle(Dark Brown). Mine is the rose nude colour, Pinch Me, so if you see the swatch below, the colour doesn't really pop out on me. If you have medium to tan skin tone, Cocoa Drizzle will suits you better!

If you're looking for something hydrating, lightweight and smells nice too, this is the lip balm for you! Take note that it's not long-lasting, so you might have to touch up here and there. I recommend using it after your night skincare routine and you will have kissable lips in the morning! It is selling at S$28 at Sephora. I'll leave the link at the end on this post!

FRESH Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment Sunscreen SPF 15 is another one of my favourites!

Yes, SPF 15 on your LIPS! How cool is that? It's moisturising and surprisingly, the colour is quite saturated for a tinted lip balm. I bought mine in Poppy, a deep burgundy tone. I wanted this to substitute my lipstick on lazy days so it's a perfect product for me to add some colour to my already dull face and of course to treat my chapped lips.

You guys can see how the colour just pops out on my lips! In terms of the packaging, it comes as your typical chapstick but with a slightly atas look. For a lip balm, it is quite pricey, selling at S$36 but, if you are not a fan of lipsticks and just wants something that works the same and more lightweight with extra benefits like hydration & SPF, this is a great dupe! I will leave the link below!

That's about it! I hope this was beneficial to those who are new or are just starting with Lip Balms. These are my personal favourites and it took me some time to find the right ones. So what works on me might not be the same for you. It's always a trial and error when it comes to finding the right product for your face!

Do leave a comment below and share with me your personal favourites! Till the next one!
