Happy Sunday Skindeepies!
Trying to make full use of my weekend with another post. This time, I would like to share with you guys my personal review on Laroche-Posay's Tinted Sunscreen! Hope you guys will enjoy reading!
A little bit info about the brand La Roche-Posay; originates from France, named after a small town with the same name. They started out with their first product, The Thermal Spring Water and since then, it has been a key ingredient in their skincare products (I think this explains why their products are always watery, lightweight and soothing to the skin!). One of their famous products would be their sunscreens, specifically the Anthelios Series. (Click here for more info about La Roche-Posay)
Sunscreens, as I have mentioned before, are probably the only products that I find no importance in using unless I am heading to the beach. Of course, I was wrong and after a few self-research and Youtube videos, I was convinced to get one for myself! I think the first step would be to understand how UVA & UVB affects our skin. You guys can watch this video to learn more: 1. Best Sunscreen for your skin type
You might have seen my previous post on Skincare Haul Sunday, and La Roche-Posay's Anthelios Shaka Tinted Fluid SPF50++ is one of the products I recently bought. It's been on most influencers, YouTubers and even skincare specialists' list on recommended sunscreens and of course, I had to try it myself! This is not my first sunscreen though; I've been using Supergoop's Matte Sunscreen(tinted), so I was excited to find out that La Roche-Posay has a tinted sunscreen too!

So this sunscreen is different from your usual ones as it comes in a liquid/watery form and has a pinkish to nude tint! I'm surprised at how lightweight and hydrating it is upon applying because the sunscreens I used to have will usually end up making my skin super sticky and oily. And don't worry, the tint will not leave any streaks or leave your face looking pink. Apparently, the tint is supposed to leave a nice glow to your skin, and it did!

You guys can see how lightweight it is and how the colour almost matches my skin tone. It has a broad spectrum which means I get the best of both worlds - protected from UVA & UVB rays, with SPF50+ & UV-PF 46, some of the highest levels of UVA/UVB protection in the market!

Because of how lightweight it is, it spreads across my skin easily and absorbs really fast! See? No pink/white streaks and my skin remains the same colour. This sunscreen comes with a nice subtle smell so for those of you who prefer fragrance-free products, you might not enjoy this as much.
I have oily to combination skin, and with the humidity in Singapore, this sunscreen seems to work well on my skin. Also, it doesn't clog up my pores when I apply my make-up on it, in fact, it leaves a dewy/glowy effect on my skin.
Verdict? I will definitely re-purchase!
You can find this at any department stores like Watsons or Guardians and is selling at S$48.90 in 50ml. They have the untinted version as well so don't worry if you're not into tinted sunscreens, and it works just as great! Another thing to take note, this is specifically for your face, but not to worry, La Roche-Posay has sunscreens for the body in the same series so you can check them out on their website! I'll leave the links below!
That is all from me! I hope it was beneficial to you in some way and maybe change your perspective on sunscreens.
Don't forget to apply sunscreen before heading out!
Until the next one!
